Skyrim Mods are player made modifications to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. These modifications either add new content, modify existing content in the game, or both. There are many different types of mods, ranging from texture mods to quest mods.
The best place to look for mods for Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition is either the Skyrim Nexus or the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus depending on the copy of the game you're using. It is recommended that, when downloading mods, to use a mod manager to correctly and easily download and install or uninstall mods. Nexus offers the Vortex mod manager.
