Songs of the Dead is a side quest in Falskaar. Rurik asks you to delve into the ruins of Holmr, along Falskaar's southern coast, to find a long lost bard's songbook called 'The Wanderin' Bard'.

- Ask around to find someone interested in the book (you have to ask someone else, you can't go directly to Rurik at this stage or it won't complete)
- Ask Rurik about the book
Walkthrough[]
Find Rurik in the Amber Mead Inn (he's the bard there) or walking around town. Talk to him and he will tell you about a song book he wants. The book is in the Ruins of Holmr, on the southern coast of Falskaar Hold. This is a very long cave and there are a large number of Draugr to be killed along the way. A follower would be helpful. There are also 2 puzzles to be solved during the quest, and they are NOT standard Snake-Eagle-Whale puzzles like used in Skyrim. Once you find the book there is a quick exit close by.
