Stickler in the Mud is a quest added by Wyrmstooth.
Walkthrough[]
Speak to Elmera once the dragon has been killed and ask whether there's anything you can do for her. She'll ask you to pick 30 spiddal sticks from the Deadlands and return them to her. Northeast of Wyrmstooth Barrow Crypt, in the valley behind it you will find an old Oblivion portal around which spiddal sticks grow. The Green Thumb perk is very useful for this quest if you want to keep any for yourself as there are only 30 spiddal sticks possible to be harvested in one go. Otherwise, you might have to wait for the sticks to regrow after being harvested. Once you have gathered 30, return to Elmera to get a skull as a reward. (You can pickpocket a unique spell tome off her, if you want to give yourself a slightly better reward.)
