The Boreal Journals of Lathgwen Evenheart is a series of journals that is added by the mod Interesting NPCs. It consists of six journals that can be found in a different location each, and tells the story of Lathgwen. Lathgwen Evenheart is, however, not an NPC that can be encountered.

The first volume can be found in Greywater Grotto.
In this journal, Lathgwen travels to Skyrim in order to find a cure for her memory's failing. She encounteres Joselyn, Zora's sister, who is at that point trying to escape from the events as they are described in the quest The Children Fair. Thinking she is one of the college mages, Lathgwen inquires about her training. Joselyn then mentiones Anise. Lathgwen takes shelter in Greywater Grotto, where she loses the first of her journals.

The third volume can be found in Beatrice's camp in the Reach.
In the Reach, Lathgwen finds a camp near a river, where she encounters two troubadours. She notes that those people are the true definition of madness. She then follows the river back east and runs into Edwayne's former servant, who ends on Ytharil's table. She follows up his advice and heads for Solitude, where she spends the night at the Winking Skeever.

While staying the night at the Winking Skeever, Lathgwen encounters a Dunmer called Drelas. She also noticed a Khajiit stalking this man and finally stumbles upon two truths: the Dunmer is the one who murdered Olivia Meronin's apprentice, as well as Drelas being the same person as Nelos.

The fifth volume can be found in the Chill.
Lathgwen heads for Winterhold on Drelas' advice, but she finds herself imprisoned there, thanks to the wild accusations of a Nord called Vigram. She tries to maintain her sanity by writing in her journal.

The sixth volume can be found in the Ratway Warrens.
This journal shows that Lathgwen has adopted an entirely new persona, that of a thief living in the Ratways. This allowed her to escape the prison cells in Winterhold.
